Being a R&I (Research & Innovation) coordinator of the Computer Engineering Department, I take this opportunity to introduce you to the R&I culture of the Department.
Nowadays, Research and innovation have become an integral part of all professions. Software technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Computer Vision, etc. have occupied all the sectors of the society. We believe that our students have huge innovative potential and we teachers undertake a responsibility to shape their potential through different avenues. We always focus on inculcating the research aptitude and innovative thinking among the students through different activities conducted by the R&D cell. For this we follow the philosophy of special interests groups (SIGs) that facilitates collaborative research among faculty and students of similar research interests. These SIGs organize different workshops and training programs to upgrade the faculty and students with the recent technical skills.
