Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. We know, theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, we at PCCoE, with the help of industry visits, sensitize students to the practical challenges that organizations face in the business world. Industrial visits also give greater clarity about various management concepts for students as they can practically see how these concepts are put into action.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT 2023-24 JODHPUR-JAISALMER-BIKANER

An industrial visit was organized by the Computer Engineering Department of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering for the Third year students to The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur and Adiyogi Techno Soft Industry, Jodhpur January 2024.

Industrial Visit to Software Technology Parks of India, Noida for TE Computer students was arranged on 12/01/2017 to 20/01/2017 to provide quality education and exposure to latest technology & to build a strong industry institute bond. This visit was arranged with the objectives to expose students to the trends in the field of Information Technology and to build a strong industry institute bond. Industrial Visit to CG TechnoSoft Pvt. Ltd., Jodhpur, Rajasthan for TE Computer students was arranged on 14th March 2016 to provide quality education and exposure to latest technology & to build a strong industry institute bond. This visit was arranged with the objectives to expose students to the trends in the field of Information Technology and to build a strong industry institute bond. Students got the knowledge about latest technology & industrial culture through this industrial visit.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO COMPUCOM SOFTWARE LTD., JAIPUR AND SUZLON WIND ENERGY FARM, JAISALMER

• An industrial visit was organized by Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune for TE Computer Department students to Compucom Software Ltd., Jaipur on 3rd March '15 & Suzlon Wind Energy Farm, Jaisalmer on 6th March '15. There were about 99 students who were accompanied by 6 faculty members for the industrial visit.


• The students visited Compucom Software Ltd. on 3rd March at 10.30 a.m. Compucom Software Ltd. which was established in 1994 is a pioneer in complete ICT enabled education in government & private schools. It specializes in total Tech. solutions across Telecom,Finance,Energy & Utility,Health & ISV domains & specializes in e-governance implementations.


• The students also visited Suzlon Wind Energy Farm,Jaisalmer on 6th March. This wind energy farm is India's largest operational onshore wind farm which is located in Jaisalmer district,Rajasthan. This project developed by Suzlon Energy was initiated in August 2001 & comprises Suzlon's entire portfolio. Its installed capacity is 1064 MW which makes it one of the worlds' operational onshore wind farm
